Taro Adds Speciality antique catalogs

Taro Manufacturing Company, Inc. located in Auburn, NY has segmented its catalog of legacy ignition parts that includes ignition distributor caps and rotors, point sets, condensers, coils, and magnetic pick ups. The .PDF General Catalog is now supplemented by individual Speciality Antique .PDF Catalogs to include Auburn, Buick, Cadillac, Chrysler, Crosley, Dodge, Ford, Hupmobile, Oldsmobile, Packard, Plymouth, Pontiac, Studebaker, Willys, and more.

The creation of the catalogs was driven by customers requesting the "old school" versions of the digital catalog that is also available on-line using Taro's Search Engine.  Customers said that a .PDF or a print-out is helpful as "sometimes it is nice to scroll through pictures". Many antique auto owners can relate to this, as often there are minute differences between applications and a visual check between similar parts is required. Luckily a picture can suffice. All of the catalogs can be found at Taro's website at www.taroignition.com.

In addition, Taro says that they are recommissioning many newly found antique molds that have not been in production for decades. Look for news soon on these newly added products to the antique auto world.

Taro is the last manufacturer / molder of distributor caps and rotors in the United States and supports the reshoring of manufacturing back to the US. Taro's sales manager, Tom,  says that the best thing consumers can do to help the reshoring effort is to ask retailers they would like to purchase the Made in USA version of the product they are looking for.
